In addition to being an Associate of the Institute of Risk Management, Leo is also a Euromoney-trained expert in structured, trade, corporate & project finance.
Having served for the over 20 years in various capacities for local, regional and international financial institutions, Leo has had the privilege of being a part of teams that have structured and raised lines of credit from regional, international and multilateral institutions. He has also been privileged to have led teams that have transformed lives through the provision of sustainable financial solutions.
Leo is also the Vice Treasurer of the University of Zimbabwe Alumni Association and a founding trustee of Mwana Mwana Trust, a Chivi-based not-for-profit organisation that focuses on providing support to underprivileged children in the Chivi district. He has also been actively involved in recent years in promoting financial inclusion and empowerment of marginalised communities.
He is an avid Dynamos fan, a keen golfer & tennis player and after many years of heartbreak, he is in the process of learning how to stop supporting Manchester United. He has four children with his lovely wife Rumbi.
